기후와 환경을 사진으로 이야기하는 새로운 프로젝트가 시작됩니다.

사진은 우리에게 많은 것을 말해줍니다.
세상의 다양한 현실을 보여주며 논쟁을 불러일으키고 영향을 미칩니다. 사진의 놀라운 힘은 우리의 삶을 변화시킬 수 있다는 것입니다.

그 변화를 위한 작은 실천으로, 중구문화재단에서는 Climate Change Photo Project, ‘CCPP 기후환경 사진프로젝트’를 개최합니다.
‘Confession to th Earth’라는 타이틀로 한국, 독일, 미국, 영국 사진작가들의 작품 약 100점을 선보입니다. 이 전시는 제목 그대로 지구에게 바치는 우리의 고해성사입니다. 이 다섯 명의 작가들은 각자의 시점에서 인간, 동물, 바다, 쓰레기, 상처, 개발, 보존, 소멸, 생존에 대해 이야기합니다. 번역할 필요도 없이 사진을 통해 곧바로 전달되는 그 메시지들은 우리에게 큰 울림을 가져다줍니다.

지구와 환경에 대한 우리의 이 고백이 마침내 우리의 삶을 변화시킬 수 있기를,
이 작은 날개 짓이 거대한 변화를 가져올 수 있기를 바랍니다.

A new project is starting to tell the story of climate and the environment through photos.

Photos speak volumes to us. They show us the diverse realities of the world, spark debates, and have an impact. The amazing power of photos is that they can change our lives.

As a small step towards that change, the Jung-gu Cultural Foundation is holding the Climate Change Photo Project, titled ‘Confession to the Earth’. About 100 works by Korean, German, American, and British photographers will be showcased. This exhibition is our confession to the Earth. These five photographers tell stories of humanity, animals, oceans, waste, wounds, development, conservation, extinction, and survival from their own perspectives. The messages conveyed directly through the photos resonate deeply with us, without the need for translation.

We hope that our Confession to the Earth and our environment will ultimately bring about a change in our lives. We hope that these small steps will lead to significant changes. We ask for your support in joining our efforts.
